Paint and Sip!

Yesterday, I was blessed with the opportunity to be a feature for Verses and Vibes' Paint and Sip Night alongside Kween Yakini and Obelia Akanke.

The event was awesome!

We each took turns feeding off the other. The host, Tawanda Prince, read with us. It was great watching the guests paint the same picture but add their own styles and personality to it.

I think the best part of all was the impromptu open mic.

From our readings, guests were encouraged to come up and spit their own lines. One man even read something he wrote that moment.

It was amazing to see God working and moving in the room last night!
