Poet Fest 2024

So, last year, I competed in a slam, and I was so close to the final round (my goal for the night). However, I got knocked out by a miscalculation, and I lost my confidence.

But on April 28, 2024, as a feature for Poet Fest's closing event, "Perspectives," I regained it and then some.

I sought guidance on my set, worked on memorizing pieces, and even though I was nervous, I had a lot of fun! I saw the Terra Leigh I have always wanted to be, and I realized what I'm bringing to this community. Now, I'm hoping that my message can go further, can go "outside" as they say.

This is only the beginning. I know God will open more doors for me!
